Learn more about Mennonites at:
The Third Way Cafe

Third Way Cafe is a website designed to give an overview of who Mennonites are. It provides information regarding the many facets and faces of the Mennonite faith around the globe. It is produced by Mennonite Media (an organization linked below on this page), on behalf of the Mennonite Churches of the U.S. and Canada, under the sponsorship of Mennonite Mission Network (also listed below).

Mennonite Church USA
http://www.mennoniteusa.org Our fellowship is part of a larger denomination of Mennonites, formed a few years ago when two denominations (the General Conference and the Mennonite Church) joined. This web site gives a picture of the wider church.

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)
http://www.mcc.org MCC is a relief, service and peace agency of the North American Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches. MCC reflects the biblical call to care for the hungry and thirsty, the stranger, the sick and those in prison.

Mennonite Mission network
http://www.mennonitemission.net The mission agency of Mennonite Church USA supports ministries in more than 50 countries.

Mennonite Media
http://www.mennomedia.org This agency provides electronic and public media, which invite individuals to faith and challenge the church to faithfulness.

Mennonite Education Agency
http://www.mennoniteeducation.org/MEAPortal/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=38 MEA seeks to strengthen the life, witness and identity of Mennonite Church USA through education. It provides leadership to the educational agenda of the church in partnership with both church and schools of all levels. Here, you can find links to Mennonite Educational institutions. Three nearby Mennonite Colleges include Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana, Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ohio and Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS)
http://www.mds.mennonite.net MDS is a channel through which various constituencies of the Anabaptist church can respond to those affected by disasters in North America. While our main focus is on clean up, repair and rebuilding homes, this activity becomes a means of touching lives and helping people regain faith and wholeness.

MennoLink
http://www.mennolink.org MennoLink is an independent inter-Mennonite, user supported service providing news, information and discussion through email interest groups and links to Mennonite-related sites.

The Mennonite
http://www.themennonite.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=4c2f6d4b049396fce65a62bd5347d540
The Mennonite is a semimonthly magazine for members of Mennonite Church USA and others interested in the Mennonite church. The Mennonite web site complements the mission of the magazine by previewing the current issue, providing back issues as well as additional resources for subscribers and those new to the magazine.

Mennonite Life
http://www.bethelks.edu/mennonitelife/2000dec/2000dec_toc.html Mennonite Life is an illustrated quarterly, published by Bethel College devoted to exploring and developing Mennonite experience. In this issue, poetry by one of our members, Sarah Reinhard, is featured.

The More-With-Less Cookbook
http://www.worldcommunitycookbook.org/more/index.html More-with-Less was a trailblazing cookbook when it first came out, and remains a guide for simple living and eating today. Written by a Mennonite woman from Pennsylvania, it is perhaps one of the books that many Mennonites and non-Mennonites alike would say challenged their way of looking at how lifestyle can impact the quality of life of people across the globe.

Simply in Season Cookbook (New in 2005)
http://www.worldcommunitycookbook.org/season/index.html Through stories and simple “whole foods” recipes, Simply in Season, explores how the food we put on our tables impacts our local and global neighbors. It shows the importance of eating local, seasonal food — and fairly traded food — inviting readers to make choices that offer security and health for our communities, for the land, for body and spirit.

Mennonite Connections on the Worldwide Web
http://www-personal.umich.edu/~bpl/menno.html provides a comprehensive catalogue of Mennonite and Amish resources on the Internet. Many many links to choose from, all on a single page for ease of searching.
